Award winning Journalist to report on Malta’s upcoming Gaming events for International Press

Patrick J O’ Brien a previous winner of the International Trade Media Award will report on Malta’s upcoming Gaming events for the both foreign media in the UK as well as for RT.

Patrick has been recognized for his role he has played in bringing focus to Malta as one of Europe’s major financial and innovative hubs as well as the setting up of Malta’s exclusive business network, Genesis.

With a keen interest in finance, technology and politics he has written for some of Europe’s leading newspapers and has a strong reputation within financial and Gaming circles.

With no less than 283 gaming companies registered in Malta, revenue from the Gaming sector topped over €5.74 million in 2014, an 11% increase on 2013. With some 9,000 employees in the sector plus various indirect impacts from around the country the sector continues to attract new entities with the LGA setting up of Gaming Malta.  The EU has long congratulated the foresight of Malta in creating the gaming industry at a time when Europe was in a financial mess. As the media reports on the upcoming events it will be Game On for all countries as they keep a watchful eye on Malta.
