Leading online gambling company bet365 has become the first betting operator to integrate Playtech’s new native application, boosting its mobile casino app’s speed and user engagement.
Detailing upgrades, the gambling software developer Playtech specified that bet365 customers would see new improvements such as faster loading times, quicker access to their favourite games, and heightened ‘immersive’ gameplay. The technology provider added that this would all be better than HTML5 equivalents.
Further features such as a personalised lobby accompanied by a ‘device centric’ layout will also be made available to bet365 players, making it easier for them to navigate. Playtech mobile also detailed that all its games inventory has been optimised for both Android and iOS systems.
Playtech COO Shimon Akad commented: “Research, including a recent Nielsen report, suggests that 89% (vs. c.11% browser) of time on mobile is spent in-app, supporting the theory that native apps are what players want to use when gaming.
“Playtech has invested significantly in native technologies, backing up our strategy to provide the best solutions for our partners and their players. The instant and sticky native play functionality and new features will ensure our licensees can drive player values and make our new app the best on the market today.”
CEO of bet365 Christian H Bogstrand said: “We have worked closely with Playtech on the development of the new Casino native app, ensuring we provide high-quality content with a much faster and improved gaming experience.”
