Per Hellberg to assume role with immediate effect
Catena Media has confirmed that Per Hellberg will take over as chief executive with immediate effect. The initial decision was divulged earlier in March when Catena announced that Hellberg would assume the role no later than 3rd September. Hellberg’s past roles include digital magazine and application service Readly, where he had been chief executive since 2013.
He said, “I am ready and strongly motivated to take Catena Media’s journey of growth a further step forward.
At Catena Media, I will be able to combine my drive, experience, leadership skills, expertise and knowledge of online lead generation.”
Hellberg will take over from acting chief executive Henrik Persson Ekdahl, who has been serving in the position since Robert Andersson left in October last year. Ekdahl is the largest shareholder in Catena through a holding in Optimizer Invest and will now return to his original role as a board member of Catena.
