Necaxa Football Club teams up with mobile development studio ECLECTICA

Los Rayos are making a commitment to enhance their mobile technology capabilities to give their fans a more interactive platform to engage the Club. Fans will be able to access all current Necaxa media from a single point of entry and moving forward the Club will be able to deploy cutting edge and more personalised media experiences.

The App mobile marketplace allows Necaxa better control of creating and delivery of Club content including more intimate back stage access, augmented reality, and other media options only available via downloadable technologies. The “Club Necaxa” App is a free app created in conjunction with European development studio ECLECTICA Ltd SA.

While the main goal of the Necaxa app is to provide the ultimate fan user experience, the business of mobile Apps is booming and has carved out an expected $122 billion dollar marketplace in 2019. With that in mind, Necaxa’s new mobile platform will also bring the business of sport to a new level for the team. The new platform will support and augment the team’s current efforts in the, display advertising, merchandising and ticket sales verticals.

The platform will also function to drive new business opportunities for the club through in app purchasing, gamification, virtual goods, and new mobile sponsorship options that mobile apps can provide vs traditional web placements. The Necaxa app will also carry a distinct advantage over other Football team apps with a full play for fun betting software that will offer the ability to drive real money contests to support current and potential betting partnerships.

Necaxa’s new European mobile technology provider Eclectica is the largest App developer for sports teams in the Latin America region. By offering the latest in native mobile technologies, ECLECTICA has entered into the Mexican mobile marketplace with one of the oldest and most popular teams in the country.

Necaxa App is Android and iOS compatible for all mobile devices, it has personalised programming with beneficial features for the users such as online gaming, prize opportunities, and individualised push notifications.

According to recent stats from AppsFlyer, Mexico is the second largest growing country in Latin America region for mobile advertising and download increases. The Mexican App marketplace is expected to easily surpass the $300,000,000 mark in ad revenue in 2019.
