Interview with Kenan Mujezinovic, the CEO of Visuality

We met Kenan Mujezinovic, the CEO of Visuality, who is taking part in Tallinn Affiliate Grand Slam and SiGMA, Summit of iGaming Malta.

Interview with Kenan Mujezinovic from BetSlipHello Kenan, how are you ? Are you ready for  the Tallinn Affiliate Grand Slam 2017 and SiGMA Affiliate Conference 2017?

Hi Marius, I´m, fine, thanks. Yes! I can´t wait, we have been working really hard to launch some news, and it will be fun to take a little break from work, and meet everybody in the business.

Can you tell us a little about your company and how the business is structured?

I run a affiliate company that is called Visuality. I have been working as a entrepreneur for a long time, and 3 years ago, I got tired of the long working hours, and no time to do what I really wanted. So I closed down everything and moved to Balkan, and from here I run my company, with Scandinavia as the main target. We did not start with gambling, so we are new at this, and we do not have ton of organic traffic, we like to do paid marketing. We have got some great results at from this lately, and are getting great response from companies that we do marketing for. We have launched www.betslip.se and will be looking to get it up in the organic search within 2 years.

With the recent wave of consolidation, mergers and acquisitions of affiliate sites, are you surprised at all of the changes happening in the industry?

There are lot for money in this industry, so no, I’m not surprised.

A number of your competitors have gone down the real money operator route, and tried their hand at white labels. Have you also done this?

No, we are an affiliate company, and we do marketing for our customers, and take commission. That’s what we do, and what we are good at. So no changes here what so ever.

Developing unique content is a key pillar of your strategy. What will be your primary focus on this front over the next 6 months?

Since my company is in Balkan, we can produce a lot of good content really cheep, and we will continue to do that. We are also looking to launching on the German market in August, since we see potential there.

Which markets do you focus on and do you see any potential in the emerging markets ?

Sweden and Norway for now, but we are looking into Germany in Q3.

How do you find Scandinavian market and competition?

We only do paid marketing, and we find it easy, not so many others companies go that route. Don´t know why.

How have Google’s algorithm updates affected the way you go about traffic generation, SEO and content at your company?

I love their updates, makes it worth to work with white hat only. We have made some sites, but won´t be any result from then the next year, but we do weekly update on them, and hope to get good return form them in 2018.

Are there any exciting plans in the works that you can tell us about?

We are working on some really fun things, that will involve social media, but we can´t say anything about it yet. We have one great NHL blogger that is writing on our page and we are really happy that he chose us to work with.

What do you see as the biggest challenges ahead for your business and the wider affiliate sector in 2017?

It´s getting harder to advertise gambling on social media, so that will be our biggest challenge.

What two pieces of advice would you give to any new affiliate starting today?

Work on your business every day, even for 1-2 hours. Also focus on one thing at time, don´t do many thing at once.

Do you play slots and what would you do with 1 million Euro from jackpot winnings?

No, I like to bet on soccer and NBA, that’s all. I would invest some in my business, and travel much more.
