Malta Sports Day raises €15,000

Malta Sports Day organised last year at Marsa Athletic Stadium, turned out as a huge success. We are proud to have been heavily involved in this charity event.

The winning team of 2015 edition, iGame

Organised by Dennis Dyhr-Hansen, Ramona Mifsud, Christian Ellul, Erik Gjerde, Jeremy Broad, Jeremy Charles Grech, Eman Pulis and Kevin Buttigieg, Malta Sports Day that took place on 19th September 2015, managed to raise €15,000 for local philanthropic organisations Re/Max and Friends Foundation, Puttinu Cares and Inspire.

The idea of the first edition of annual sports day was to bring the iGaming industry closer by participating together and competing with each other in many fun sports activities for a good cause.

Dennis Dyhr-Hansen, CEO at MatchingVisions commented: “It’s amazing how people come together for a common goal such as charity. I would like to thank those involved in organising the event as well as the sponsors for being so generous both with their time and financially.”

Jeffrey Buttigieg, a member of the Re/Max and Friends Foundation board, said: “It was an excellent experience and great fun to organise and watch participants compete in a friendly environment. The committee did an excellent job in the organisation and we are grateful for their donation.”

The next edition of Malta Sports Day is being discussed by the next edition and will take place early summer, later this year.
