Meet Jack Decuzo, Founder of Decuzo Media

“Stay focused on your targets, and be loyal to whom you are doing business with.” We caught up with Jack Decuzo, Founder of Decuzo Media.

Hello Jack, how are you doing in this festive season?

Hey hello, Marius and SiGMA readers. If I was any better, vitamins would be taking me!

How did you come to enter the online gaming space and set up your company?

I’ve been doing affiliation for over 7 years, since 2010, during some of the most innovative and fast-growing times. I have been collaborating with a wide palette of different and talented operators across the industry which has taught me a lot over years on how to run a successful business.
Last year, 2016, I had the pleasure to be introduced to Eman Pulis, whom immediately saw potential in me and my company, and invited me to SiGMA. I then attended this great conference and exposition, and it changed my way of thinking about iGaming, and I have been way more active in the industry ever since.

Can you tell us a little about how your company business is structured?

As a sole proprietor and founder I complete most of my work independently, I greatly value input and will consult with my partners to ensure we’re all on the same track. I also appreciate checking proactively to regularly update them on my progress and ask about any issues that have arisen. This open communication helps me complete tasks efficiently and accurately.

Developing unique content is a key pillar of your strategy. What will be your primary focus on this front over the next 6 months?

With the relaunching of our affiliate network, the primary focus will be to develop a wide range of attractive and optimized assets and funnels for each campaign. The goal is to focus on testing, gathering data & optimizing only towards the top performing campaigns. My company developed a unique system, that hasn’t yet been seen in the affiliate industry We’ll be the first to utilize this system reach our affiliates before expanding access. This means the affiliates who work with us are getting a valuable and unique way of promoting campaigns without the need to put in any additional work, in order to make more profit from campaigns.

Which markets do you focus on and do you see any potential in the emerging markets?

I have mainly been working with tier 1. countries in my affiliate lifetime. Due to all the changes and restrictions that are happening all the time I believe it’s more important to be flexible and adaptable so you don’t get “locked” into a single market, that then suddenly getting regulated, leaving you with a business that cannot be operated for a certain time because only rely on a single market or a few.

How do you find Scandinavian and UK markets and competition?

Overall we are experiencing a lot of competition in these particular markets. Altho with roots in Denmark, we are taking advantage of being based in the middle of The United Kingdom and Scandinavia. To top it off, I’ve been working with these markets from the very beginning.

Are there any exciting plans in the works that you can tell us about?

We are relaunching our affiliate network in the beginning of 2018, with a whole new range of exclusive campaigns and the best terms for all affiliates and advertisers.

What is the main thing that you’d like SiGMA readers to know about your company?

Decuzo Media is a high-profile boutique agency specializing in delivering marketing results with unparalleled accuracy. We are dedicated to customer satisfaction, loyalty and premium service. At Decuzo Media we focus on innovation strategies to connect our users to a rich and diverse affiliate network. Thank you for the opportunity to connect with your readers

What challenges and opportunities has the move to mobile presented you with?

Since most of us have a mobile phone on-and at all times, it’s easier than ever to place advertisements where people are most engaged. This gives us a better opportunity to optimize every campaign to engage prospects interacting with the particular offer, at the best time, and or location.
The most challenging thing about mobile is figuring out new and inspiring ways for our leads to interact with offers and convert them as quickly as possible since it’s easy to miss the opportunity as a result of other distractions on mobile.

What do you see as the biggest challenges ahead for your business in 2017 and 2018?

As we grow and evolve, we are always making sure we keep on pushing our own and the industry’s boundaries, in order to stay ahead of our competitors and make a noticeable impact to those around us. I think that’s the most important thing when starting a business, that you keep challenging yourself, so you don’t stand still, and fall behind the industry, being on top of every challenge we face, is just a thing making us stronger as individuals and as a growing organization.
However, the most challenging thing I am facing right now that is finding the right talent for my team with focus on culture fit, mission and vision. Talent is my top priority since it’s the heard of the organization, and exceptional services and innovation is what results in loyal and happy customers.

What two pieces of advice would you give to any new affiliate starting today?

Do it right from the beginning and take the time its requires. Stay focused on your targets, and be loyal to whom you are doing business with.

Do you play slots and what would you do with 1 million Euro from jackpot winnings?

It’s very rare that I do play and or gamble, and if I did, I would most likely be on the roulette or playing Black Jack. However, I would most likely invest them in different things. Stocks, properties, start-ups, bitcoins, and maybe even vintage timepieces.

Are you ready for Affiliate Grand Slam and SiGMA17?

I am still preparing for this next big opportunity for acquiring new information and techniques from the talented speakers and the workshops, as well as for our pitch for the speed dating sessions! Thank you, and looking forward to seeing you all there.

Relive the highlights and stay tuned for this year’s SiGMA. Watch out for what we’re branding as the ‘iGaming Village’ this year.
Are you an operator looking for top affiliates? Are you a top affiliate looking for a nice treat with like-minded affiliates playing at the same level?
