Mr Green hits double digits
Ten years ago, the iGaming industry welcomed one of its most reputable firms
Mr Green is one of the most established brands among European iGaming players, as indicated by customer surveys.
The formation of the brand was a sheer fluke. The founders – three Swedish IT-entrepreneurs – were seeking a memorable name of their new gaming site surrounding responsible gaming.
Mr Green was one of the foremost sites that equipped players with the opportunity to set limits and since then, the foundation Green Gaming has been at the heart of the business strategy.
Last year, Mr Green released its one of a kind Green gaming tool which supplies the customers with detailed insights into their gaming behaviours. Per Norman CEO of MRG remarked, “Green Gaming is part of our DNA.”
In the firms early days, Mr Green only offered casino games. Nowadays, the site offers sportsbook as well as tournaments and number games. On the other hand, after Mr Green executed three successful acquisitions, the management altered the name of the Group from Mr Green to MRG to mirror the fact that the firm is now multidimensional.
Norman added, “Mr Green is of course still our flagship. We are now working with two global brands in parallel – Mr Green and Redbet, which we bought in the beginning of the year from the Bonnier Group.”
MRG is a continually expanding, innovative iGaming Group with prevailing stakes in 13 markets. The firm holds licences in Denmark, Italy, Latvia, Malta, the UK, and a sportsbook license in Ireland. MRG offers an enhanced gaming experience in a Green Gaming environment.
