Scientific Games joins forces with Caesars in US
Scientific Games to offer OpenBet in New Jersey and Mississippi
Scientific Games has announced its partnership deal with Caesars, offering its OpenBet sports book platform in New Jersey and Mississippi, with the objective to aid the corporation in capitalising on the opening-up of sports betting in the US.
Scientific Games’ OpenBet processed more than 177 million bets across all channels during the 2018 World Cup. The platform’s success during the world’s premier sporting event indicates that millions of bettors participated in a seamless sports betting experience.
Caesars’ Atlantic City, Gulf Coast, and Tunica properties are all affected in a move that Scientific Games’ president and CEO Barry Cottle feels is a “pivotal” deal in shaping the overall sports betting landscape in the country.
Cottle said: ” Together, we will usher in a new era for gaming in the US and welcome thousands of new players into the sports betting market. With OpenBet, our powerful and robust sportsbook platform, Caesars will have a truly open platform and end-to-end product suite that delivers the very best and flexible solutions.”
“Our SG Digital team is excited to help Caesars build for the future, as they expand their sports betting across land-based, digital and mobile platforms into newly regulated markets.”
