SiGMA Pitch - a platform for iGaming startups
Gaming Startups are the very lifeblood of the industry, and there’s no better environment for them than the SiGMA Pitch – a platform for iGaming start-ups that sees them pitch themselves to some of the most sophisticated investors in the biz. Just by virtue of taking part, start-ups gain valuable branding visibility on the buzzing expo floor for one of the most high-profile events in the iGaming world as well as entry to premium networking events with C-level executives.
They also gain access to SiGMA’s extensive social media channels. The massive concentration of iGaming companies on the tiny Mediterranean island of Malta is no accident. The thriving iGaming industry that is Malta is a living, breathing – and exceptionally healthy – ecosystem. SiGMA, for its part, has established itself as a marquee event in iGaming. It has grown at a breakneck speed over a handful of years since its launch, and managed to draw in the region of 8000 delegates in 2017.
This year’s show promises to be even larger, and is expected to draw over 12500 attendees. This makes it the ideal stage for the SiGMA Pitch, which was first introduced in 2016, and has more than matched the expo’s growth.70 iGaming-oriented startups made the cut, and featured in the 2017 edition. Over 100 are expected for the 2018 edition.
The SiGMA Pitch will feature heavy participation by Melissa Blau, whose background in investment and VC speaks for itself. Blau will be an event headliner, and will offer her guidance to participants in the run-up to the event. Malta in general, and SiGMA 2018 in particular, make for an ideal incubator for start ups. Everything they need to grow and eventually thrive is close at hand – from collaborators, to investment capital, to the best of expert advice – everything is within easy reach.
