Agreement covers the operator’s online and retail offering in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia
SIS (Sports Information Services), the leading multi-channel supplier of betting services, has secured an agreement with leading Balkan bookmaker, Meridianbet, to deliver its 24/7 Live Betting Channel.
SIS’s 24/7 Live Betting Channel features a mix of leading horse and greyhound racing and will provide Meridianbet with profitable short-form content throughout the day, with a betting event taking place every five minutes.
The 24/7 channel will have live pictures and data from first-class British and Irish horse racing, along with international races from Australia, Dubai, Latin America, Mauritius, and Korea, as well as UK and Irish greyhound racing events.
The deal will see SIS – which is also a supplier to the likes of bet365, Ladbrokes Coral, Paddy Power Betfair and William Hill – distribute the channel to Meridianbet’s retail outlets in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia, as well as online, and it represents SIS’s entry into the Balkan region and highlights the global appeal of racing content in driving betting turnover for operators.
Zoran Milosevic, CEO at Meridianbet, said: “We’re thrilled to have struck this deal with SIS for its 24/7 Live Betting Channel and we are excited about introducing it in-store and online to our customers."
Vladimir Stamenic, Product Manager, said: “With SIS’s expertise and a proven betting product, this deal allows us to significantly expand our horse and greyhound offering.
“We are sure that these events will appeal to our customers, offering them high-quality competitive racing that will provide a great betting experience both online and in our retail shops.”
Anze Gantar, Digital Sales Manager at SIS, said: “We’re delighted that Meridianbet customers will now have access to a huge number of new betting opportunities thanks to our 24/7 Live Betting Channel.
“Our premium horse and greyhound racing content is unrivaled in the industry and will provide over 80,000 live betting events each year”.
