Slotegrator joins with Cubits to launch Cryptocurrency Webinar

SiGMA sponsor Slotegrator, the gaming industry aggregator has joined forces with Cubits to launch a webinar on the 21st of April at 16:00 (Moscow time). The webinar “Why do online casinos switch to cryptocurrencies”, will expand your knowledge in this current industry trend.

Slotegrator expert Vadi Potapenko (Development manager) and Chief operating officer at Cubits, Maxim Krupyshev (CCO) will host this online event on this topical issue. 2016 saw the incredible rise of Bitcoin as an acceptable mainstream payment method, and the online casino industry was no exception. Is it a five-minute wonder or a mass market movement? What does the future hold and what are the risks for those pursuing this decentralized online currency?

Potapenko will discuss the current shift in online casinos and sports books to cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin, notably how and why these payment methods have taken precedent. He will also focus on recent legislation and how exactly regulators are trying to manage the cryptocurrency market. The presenter will also provide an explanation to the legal status of bitcoin itself, as well as the functioning of crypto casinos.

Representing Cubits, Krupyshev will circumnavigate the problems and issues with cryptocurrencies, he will aim to analyse security of Bitcoin as an online payment method as well as careful consideration of risks attached. On a separate note Krupyshev will be discussing the future of cryptocurrencies with regards to the online gambling and gaming industry. Finally, the Cubits service package will be presented to the audience.
