Deputy Chairperson, Chamber of Commerce
Olga Finkel is a top-ranked expert in gambling and technology law and one of the world’s premier internet and e-commerce lawyers.
She brings to the SiGMA conference her wide-ranging experience in the commercial and regulatory frameworks of iGaming, as well as the legal issues that arise out from cross-border data and money transactions concerning player privacy and security.
On November 1st, Olga Finkel will be on the SiGMA stage, C-level execs and suppliers track, alongside Angelo Dalli and Nikolai Livori, to deliver her presentation entitled: Data Sovereignty, Geo-location & Player ID: Legal & Technological Implications.
European Advisor, Lotteries and Gaming Authority
Michael Frendo is one of early group of legal practitioners that broke new ground by having the foresight of encouraging and setting up a robust and coherent regulatory framework for remote gaming in Malta.
He is a regular speaker at international conferences about iGaming and between 2004 and 2008 held the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malta. He is currently the European Adviser to the Maltese gaming regulator, the Lotteries and Gaming Authority.
On October 31st, Michael Frendo will be talking to the C-level execs and suppliers in attendance about whether a single market for online gaming is still feasible, or if it’s destined to remain an alluring pipeline dream.
Ulrik Bengtsson heads the largest online gaming company based in Malta, which boasts an international mix of personnel totalling over 900 employees and hailing from nearly 40 different countries.
He has held the post of CEO at Betsson Malta since July 2012 and oversees all the gaming operations run by the Betsson Group locally.
Ulrik Bengtsson will be delivering his talk with the Hon. Dr José Herrera, Malta’s Parliamentary Secretary for Competitiveness and Economic Growth, on the subject of whether Malta can truly lay claim to the title of the ‘Silicon Valley’ of the iGaming industry.
Joakim Stockman is the CEO of the Malta-based iGaming operator Betit Group, which owns and operates two online gaming brands.
His involvement with Betit Group coincided with a tremendous expansion undergone by the company, which saw it grow to a complement of 60 employees and daily revenues in excess of €50k.
Joakim Stockman will also be stepping onto the SiGMA stage on October 31st, sharing the floor with Robin Reed. He will deliver a talk directed to gaming startups based on his own experience of overnight success at Betit entitled: From Nothing to Hero: The Route to Success. CEO, logobotixX Enterprises
Ralph Tegtmeier has been dominating search engines since 1996 and earned a reputation as one of world’s foremost SEO experts. He is regularly invited to speak at SEO events and counts among several Fortune 500 companies in his massive portfolio of past clients.
Known by his nickname, Fantomaster, Ralph Tegtmeier will be one of SiGMA’s star speakers, sharing his vast knowledge of strategic search marketing and automatic content generation technology.
