Global Gaming adds new COO to its management team
Global Gaming is further strengthening the financial side of the organisation with the addition of a new role, Operational Chief Financial Officer (Operational CFO), as part of the management team.
As of today, Michael Gatt was officially appointed to the Operational CFO role for the Maltese subsidiary. Gatt has been the Finance Manager for the Maltese subsidiary since September 2017 and had previously worked for Betsafe, Europe Entertainment Ltd and PWC.
Gatt summarises his excitement for the new role, “I am proud but also pleased by this vote of confidence and the new responsibilities that come with the new role. I am looking forward to being part of this talented management team.”
Group CFO Christoffer Tell will continue to be a part of the management team but will consequently shift his focus more towards governance, investor relations and working more actively in M&A-related issues.
Lately, Global Gaming has undergone a successful staffing structure. Last month the firm secured industry veteran Joacim Möller as its new CEO.
“Michael has worked hard and has certainly proven his worth over the past year,” said CFO Christoffer Tell. “So I feel very confident in handing over part of my areas of responsibility to him. This new division of responsibilities will allow me to make more effective use of resources and focus on developing the company. This in turn means we’ll be more agile and responsive when the right opportunities arise.”
Global Gaming is a challenger in the iGaming industry, delivering innovative and safe gaming services and operating a number of successful casino brands. Its flagship, Ninja Casino, builds on a revolutionary technology enabling players to enjoy a safe and seamless online casino experience without the hassle of a lengthy registration process.
