CEO and Editor in Chief of iGaming Brazil, Flavio Figueiredo joins our own Yanni Collins on Startup Spotlight to talk about the company's news and business portal that covers events and information about the offline and online world of the industry, mostly focusing on the Brazilian and LatAm entrepreneurs
SiGMA's Yanni Collins got together with Flavio Figueiredo, iGaming Brazil CEO and Editor in Chief, to spotlight the eighth of the SiGMA Pitch Startups which is coming out periodically on SiGMA News. SiGMA Pitch is an event by SiGMA which showcases over a hundred different startups and enables them to take the red seat and present their product to an environment surrounded by top investors and mentors helping them to create a good strong network.
Figueiredo starts by saying how in a short period of time iGaming Brazil becam one of the most important sites associated with the industry, providing daily media coverage of a diversity of categories such as legislation, online casions, land-based casinos, lotteries and much more. He also states how the company has beocme a reference point for many government bodies, be it municipal or federal, with many big news portals making use of their sources.

Our company is very focused on the digital market, with lots of emphasis on businesses that operate in the same way and somehow have some connection with Brazil."
He went on to say that they are always trying to be innovative, launching activities that, many times, become reference point for their competitors, a phenomenon which, according to Figueiredo and iGaming Brazil, is good for the industry and always encouraging everyone to improve their businesses in the in a more innovative way. He also said that he works from an office in Malta where he searches data about the industry and relates it back to his company back in Brazil.
