Working remotely has Carousel Group staff recreating masterpieces

Staying positive is a core ingredient in the recipe of a successful situation

Enjoying art museums during this stressful time is impossible, but that surely doesn’t mean that life has to be uncultured. With employees working remotely and having a lot of time on their hands, Carousel group challenged them to post photos of themselves recreating their favorite works of art from the safety of their homes. The employees were asked to recreate famous works of art that are already out there with whatever they have lying around the house.

Employees responded with enthusiasm and sent SiGMA news some of their unique artistic interpretations. The instructions were easy, choosing your favorite artwork, finding household items that may help you recreate the painting and sharing your pictures with the rest of the colleagues. The results have exceeded all expectations.

This is what Daniel Graetzer, Founder & CEO at Carousel Group had to say about the challenge:

“Many of the Carousel Group staff are in one of the hardest hit communities right now, in the heart of Madrid, Spain. As we enter our 4th week of quarantine and self-isolation, staff mental health and motivation is becoming one of the key objectives of the leadership team. We actively encourage honest and open conversation about how staff are feeling, ensuring no-one is ignored, but most importantly are the positive actions we take to improve the daily lives of our staff.

Every week we organise games, activities and competitions to help break up the week and give our team something to look forward to, and something to laugh about.

A company is only as good as the people on its team, and it's times like these that we need to go the extra mile to ensure our team are not only being happy and productive, but enjoying their situation, despite the tragedies of the world outside.”
